LOVE AGAIN - OUT NOW
Two years ago I was in the middle of getting over a bad breakup. It was actually the same breakup that inspired my single “Say What It Is” from my debut EP “Lay Down”. As we all do, I found my self swiping on the apps and going out on dates with guys in London just to catch that feeling, the feeling of being in “Love Again”. I wanted to build something that was more real than the profiles I was skimming through, which I sing about in the first verse “want to build a house, on grounds so strong it leaves no room for doubt”.
I’ve blended the feelings of nostalgia for a love lost alongside the sadness and melancholy of being alone in the lyrics and production. I wrote the hook and finished the bilk of the production way back in 2019. I kept working on it throughout the pandemic and once I was happy with it, I played it for one of my frequent collaborators, J.Ar.J. - the producer of “NO” - I knew he would add that extra resonant oomph and he did not fail to deliver!
